Wrought Art has been manufacturing bespoke iron gates, railings, balustrade, Juliet balconies and handrails for over 50 years.
Design styles
We enjoy working collaboratively with you to design each piece to suit your requirements and preferences, whilst being in-keeping with the property and surrounding area. If you are looking for ideas, we can create designs based on particular styles such as: Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian, Art Deco, Gothic, Arts and Crafts and many more. We can also work with your own designs to help bring them to life.
Our gates are designed to fit the space you have, so not only swing gates, but bi-folding, sliding or telescopic may offer you improved access or space on your driveway.
If you’re wanting your gates to give a little privacy, we can fit privacy boards to traditional design wrought iron gates or we can design a steel framed gate with composite infill boards. Click here for details.
We can manufacture curved railing panels to follow the contours of your boundary line or brick wall.
Coatings
Our products are supplied with a variety of finishes. The steel can be Hot Zinc Galvanised or bright zinc plated to reduce the possibility of rusting and finished with a polyester powder coating, most often in black, but can be any colour in the RAL colour range. We also provide a service to hand-paint features, usually the finials, in gold or silver.
We will advise you on the best coating solution for your design, to minimise maintenance and reduce the long-term cost of ownership, ensuring that your ornamental ironwork continues to look great for years to come.
Installations
We can manufacture and supply only, or the majority of our customers choose the benefits of our expertise in installing our products. For gates, we use either steel posts or hinge plates fixed to suitable brickwork and are happy to advise the pros and cons of each method based on your specific installation.
